“That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love” (Eph 4:14-16).

Everything God does serves His Kingdom purpose. God’s purpose is to restore His rulership on earth through mankind. In the Kingdom of God we are all unique, having differing gifts and emphasis, but together we are more powerful than we are apart. Not one of us has a monopoly on the revelation of Christ, but when we put our parts together, we find the whole.

During this time of unprecedented change, many of us are experiencing transition. In this time of transition, it behooves us to be patient with one another in our journey because we are all growing. Society hypnotizes us to do the opposite. That’s why so many people are frustrated, fearful, stuck, and not at the success they know they deserve. As we fortify our minds with truth, we will see possibilities where before we could only see problems. As we detoxify our emotional life, learn forgiveness, release the past, and optimize our spiritual life, we will begin to live for a mighty mission, advancing the Kingdom of God.

We have been commanded to speak the truth in love. How we speak will be as important as what we speak. We live in a testing and often perplexing day. A day when personal comfort and personal conviction often collide. In those times, be true to your convictions more than to your comfort. However, remember that your personal conviction is not a license to enforce our opinion upon others. We can disagree without being disagreeable. If your conviction is not just a personal conviction but a clear mandate in the word of God, we must not be silent but cry aloud and spare not. We do not cry aloud to expose or humiliate others but rather to encourage righteousness. We are called to be the voice of conscience in our society. We can only do that if our conscience is clear.

The Kingdom of God is not about taking sides on issues but rather about taking His truth to the whole earth. Truth is not a set of facts or information. Truth is a person and that person is Christ. We will not change the world by telling what needs to be fixed but rather by announcing how it got fixed. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me(John 14:6). When we speak the truth in love, we are actually releasing the life, nature, and character of Christ in the world.

In the ark, there were both clean and unclean animals. You can be in the boat and be unclean, but when the boat gets in you, He is never unclean. I’m not interested in focusing on the dirt, but I focus on the seed. The seed is incorruptible. As we proclaim the incorruptible seed of Christ it will produce an incorruptible fruit. How do we know we have embraced Him? We start producing His fruit.

Jesus said that He had come that you may have life and that you may have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Keep speaking the truth. This is a great season!
