We at Living Word Christian Center know that God has raised this ministry up as a light in the city to reach the lost and hurting, the downcast and those who need someone to care. Our local body of believers is committed to the vision of demonstrating Kingdom principles that Jesus taught in His Word. We are a Church that is relevant to the times and sensitive to the issues and needs of the people. Our ministry is active in citywide outreaches, radio ministry, home and hospital visitation, prayer and counseling, and providing hope and healing for hurting humanity.
As we have witnessed lives being transformed, LWCC continues to expand the Kingdom of God announcing its purchase of the former Delchamps shopping center at 2550 Government St. with plans to continue our efforts in transforming a city, uniting a people of God for worship unto the King of kings and Lord of lords - 3 locations, One Government; Stay tuned as plans unfold to build our new sanctuary and multi-purpose facility that is destined to transform our city and reach the nations of the world. “Of the increase of His government, there shall be no end...” Isa 9:7
